I have just returned to Malta after visiting Sorrento with my husband and I can say that we are very satisfied that we have chosen Central hotel in Sorrento because of its cleanliness, friendly staff, very good food and very near to Sorrento centre I highly recommend it to my family and friends

With easy access to downtown, 20 minute walk, we took a stroll after arrival. The hotel had an open desk area, with a bar downstairs. The room key is large and should be left at the desk when going out for the day. The room was clean with a nice comfortable bed and quiet for sleeping. The bathroom adequate with...

Stayed last 2 nights at Hotel Central as part of an 11 day Italy tour. This was the best of best hotels on tour. After 3 nights of a hot noisy Rome hotel (otherwise very nice), Hotel Central provided 2 quiet, comfortable nights in a family owned upscale hotel convenient to walking and touring Sorrento. Had lovely dinner there as...

We arrived with our tour group. Staff very friendly. Hotel is small, clean and nice rooms. Breakfast average. In walking distance to downtown. We had a nice view from our room. Dinner was good and staff very attentive. Wifi on and off. They let us use their computer to print our plane boarding passes at no extra charge. Nice bar...

Great buffet breakfast, cool a/c in room, comfy bed. Very nice rooftop patio with fantastic view. A ten minute walk from the main square, but easy on the eyes, with a cool drink in one' hand:) Staff helpful, very clean. A room on the street side is fine, but a sea view room would be preferable.

The hotel lobby looks 4 stars but that's about it. We stayed in a corner room at the back of the hotel and did not experience any noise from the traffic outside. However, the furniture and decor of the room, and the lift were all rather dated. The room and bathroom were not well heated. The bed was okay but...

Stayed two nights as part of a tour group. We had been in Italy for a week & had trouble sleeping because PRIOR beds were VERY hard, as well as pillows. (Felt like plywood covered by a sheet!) The beds & pillows at Hotel Central were much more comfortable! The staff was very friendly, as well. Good food, too. We...

I stayed here for 3 night as part of a tour group. The hotel was great. Great rooms with a refrigerator. We had a room with a view of the pool deck and Mt Vesuvius. We never went to the pool but others said they enjoyed it. The breakfast was decent, the dinner was just eh. As for the walk...

My husband and I stayed here for a week and were extremely happy with the hotel in general. The only drawback being our room faced the main road, the Amalfi Drive is it's common name. We found the petrol fume pollution very overwhelming in Sorrento as a whole, my asthma was really bad but, I also had a cold, so...

Stayed here 4 nights as part of Monogram tour. 90% of the tour upgraded to Hilton. The only reason I could see for upgrading would be the walk into town. Crazy traffic on the road down and at times you have to walk single file. Only about 15 minute walk but at times, not pleasant. Hotel does offer a shuttle...
