Stayed a week at Grand Hotel Flora on a Thomson package tour. Hotel situated on a main road so the front bedroom we had was quite noisy at night. I think rooms at the back of the hotel would be less prone to traffic noise and fumes when balcony door was open. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful...

We have just returned from 11 nights at the Grand Hotel Flora. Weather was very good until yesterday when it poured. We would happily stay at the Flora again, we chose it because of its location which is very handy for Tasso Square , the train and bus station. We had a room at the back of the hotel which...

The Grand Hotel in Sorrento is beautifully well kept hotel that once would have been glorious. The hotel has a great location about 5 minutes from the town centre. The rooms are nice rather small, nothing special. The Hotel pool is lovely, as is the bar downstairs as a great place to relax. The breakfast buffet and restaurant at the...

Mixed thoughts about this hotel. It's not 'grand', although it may have been once. As previous comments say the reception area is still quite grand with a lovely sweeping marble staircase and good bar area. Check in was quick and easy. You have to make your own way to your room, and yes the corridors are quite scruffy, as is...

We had room on front of hotel. Traffic noise terrible but once balcony door was closed it was fine. The food was great. The service was great. Gala night is a must. Brilliant. 4 course meal and free prosecco. Waiters were exceptional. Free safe. Fridge 10 euro per week. Lovely big swimming pool and plenty of sun beds. Enjoyed my...

Upon check in our opinion of the place was awful, thankfully the hotel resolved some of our issues so we left feeling OK. When we checked in they said they didn't know anything about our need for a travel cot despite having email comms with the manager, they then told us there would be a charge for this which we...

Overall fantastic stay. Lovely & friendly staff. Also really enjoyed the Gala night (free) with endless supply of Prosecco & beautiful food. Nice view of Vesuvius from the dining area. We will return to this hotel at some point in the near future

Enjoyed our week as hotel was friendly, clean and food was good apart from starter salad selection which was poor. We had a side view room overlooking Vesuvius which was great on 4th floor under dining room. It's on the busy main road which we were already aware of but all in all we got a good deal for a...
