The hotel is on a steep hill overlooking Sorrento.
The views in all directions are stunning and it is surrounded by wonderfully landscaped gardens, little quiet patios, a woodland with hammocks swinging beneath the olive trees, and a very refreshing swimming pool.

A hotel a little out of town with magnificent views. Staff were delightful. Very good food. Room a little on the small side but fine for all of that. Still family run. Spending time in the gardens after a busy day sightseeing was excellent
La Badia is a hotel full of character, in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay. There are several different terraces & outdoor areas, both sunny & shady, in which to relax & the pool is clean & well maintained.

Parking specific area is plenty at La Abadía Hotel grounds. You can also get down to town via the hiking trails in the hotel grounds that connect to other hotels and residential neighborhood. The picturesque view down the steep hill into town is not to be missed. Highly recommend to park your car, and go explore. Find the hiking trail to the swimming hole by the cliff.
