The reception in this B&B is very personal as you are welcomed into the owner's home. The garden is nice and the room was clean and quiet. (Which is quite exceptional in this loud and somewhat dirty city.) Breakfast is average, but when served in the garden, very pleasant.

We spent 5 days at The Secret Garden and enjoyed every moment. Mario and Anna are warm and friendly hosts. The accommodation was comfortable. The decor vintage yet eclectic. We had a great time conversing with Anna every morning at Breakfast in the "Secret Garden" Both Mario and Anna gave us useful tips on places to go. We would stay here...

The place is nice and very central, close to many places a visitor wants to see (Museo Archeologico, Duomo, S. Gregorio Armeno......). The secret garden is really a nice big garden well kept, a resting oasis for the guest and an ideal place for breakfast weather permitting. All the place is nicely decorated, with plenty of little objects that create...

Two nights in the secret Garden helped soften the culture shock of Naples. With that wonderful garden and the attention from Ana and Mario we had information and confidence to briefly explore and enjoy some of Naples' attractions. Our front room was large and very comfortably furnished. The stairs were a bit daunting with luggage but we would return when...

Maria and Anna were absolutely lovely, they were not only wonderful hosts, but also a joy to get to know. My girlfriend and I stayed with them for a couple of days, they went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend it!

The name does not say it all: there is much more to this place than a large, luxuriant, and incredibly peaceful garden that you would never say it's there by just looking at the building. Bedrooms are spacious, incredibly comfortable, feel just like home: I've seen three different ones and I have slept in two located in different positions in...

When you plan your holiday in Italia, you must begin in Napoli and it must be for at least a week with Mario and Anna. WOW. Number One recommendation!! We are back home in Seattle, WA just two days after a month of touring Italy staying in pensiones and B&B's starting up North. This charming family-run B&B was hands-down the...

I went to Naples on a business trip for 10 days in May - and as a single female traveller, I wanted to find a place with a family environment. From the time, I read about Il Giardino Segreto (the Secret Garden) I was captivated. Anna and Mario were so gracious from my very first email - and I sent...

During our road trip trough Italy, we stayed in the b&b. our last minute reservation was accepted and we enjoyed a little luxury after camping for a week. Nice place, beautiful garden and close to the center. The owners are nice and speak a little Dutch. We had a pleasant stay!

We have just stayed the nights of 23 and 24 May, which we enjoyed enormously. Mario and Anna were very flexible, and understanding of our ever changing arrangements, and also for providing breakfast well before our scheduled departure on the 25th. We didn't expect that and we were touched. There were many and kind suggestions, both culinary and cultural, which...
