Have just arrived back from 4 nights at this hotel. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was large and very clean with lots of complimentary toiletries. The hotel is very central, being just a few minutes walk via the garden into town. The food was good with lots of choice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool...

I am a self confessed Italianophile and the staff here confirmed all my best thoughts The room are spacious and airy and A/C very effective and quiet The big issue with Sorrento is traffic especially stinky Vespas which are everywhere There is traffic noise on balconies which makes them unusable The swimming pool on the roof is fantastic with a...

Decent hotel although bedrooms a bit tired. Main reception and dining area were more modern and food was average. Lovely gardens. The main attraction of this hotel was it's proximity to the bus and railway station and only a few minutes walk from the heart of Sorrento.

Staff very friendly - both on reception, in restaurant, cleaning ladies and the boys up in bar at pool always smiling I like that in a hotel and its a...

Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto Sorrento This hotel was built in the late 60's and is a popular hotel in Sorrento. This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Sorrento with a 2 minute walk to the central Piazza of Sorrento. I stayed here 2 nights and found this hotel spotlessly clean with friendly staff. Better priced than the hotels...

I will say the rooms are rather large given the typical size of European hotels, and there was a balcony (but you basically looked at the apartments across the street), but they didn't clean the floors (when I walked in my bare feet, I left black marks on the bath mat), the wifi was spotty, the food was ok at...

I visited this hotel in July 2014. I was supposed to stay there for a couple of nights until we found somewhere to live (we had a two months work contract in Naples, luckily during the summer) one week later we decided to live for the two months in the hotel. The extremely friendly staff, the delicious breakfast and the...

Stayed one night for fotball match, close to the stadium. Wifi works, pretty simple and small rooms, but clean. Friendly staff. Be carful on the streets - Napoli :-) Close to public transport, metro, trains. We did not have breackfast but, nearby cafe is perfect!
