Not your typical agriturismo as it is in the centre of Cicciano but has two very gracious hosts with very good command of English. Breakfast and dinner are both well prepared with more than enough food served at both. A little challenging to find the first time but after that no problem. Consider the train to Pompeii and Ercolano and...

An oasis in a rather dusty little town near Naples nestling behind huge coach doors. It made us gasp at the beautiful large courtyard and gardens, so unexpected. The owners were delightful and Giovanna is the most amazing cook. Our room was typically old Italian, very comfortable but the bathroom was not great. Possibly some renovation should be considered. We...

Trying to find Il Cortile in the dark was not at all easy, especially as there are usually cars parked all along Via Roma. We ended up turning into a side street and stopping to draw breath, when we were flashed by another driver who could not get past. But once we had made contact with the owners and entered...

Once you enter the door to this place you will feel welcome right away. A beautiful big patio with a lot of charm and a peaceful place to sit down and relax. The hosts are great, and prepare the most delicious food!!! Our kids, 3 and 5 year old, also had a great time, they loved the place.

We arrived at Cicciano expecting it to be a village; instead we were in a busy town and began to think we were in for a bad experience. It took ages and a lot of help to find Il Cortile in a very narrow street, we were becoming seriously disillusioned. Then the door into the garden was opened and we...

We were made very welcome by our hosts, who could not have been more friendly or helpful. The whole place is full of character and clean, and the gardens, set right in the middle of the town, are amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and had dinner both evenings. We felt the food was exceptional, beautifully presented in a lovely...

Il Cortile has the atmosphere of the tradionational Italian way of life. Cicciano isn't a very pretty village, but this B&B is special. It's an very old building with a large court (cortile). The owners are pretty people with love for Italian food and their guests.
