This hotel could not have been more convenient for us. We had a rental car, which we parked for free in a lot less than a block away. The main entrance to the Pompeii ruins was less than a block in the other direction; no time wasted!!! The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours early, and we...

The Forum is an excellent small hotel within shouting distance of an entrance to the ruins of Pompeii. The staff is perfect, the beds wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom totally modern and clean. Even though we were there in November and it was chilly, we managed to have drinks outside in the pretty lemon-tree garden two of the three evenings of...

This hotel is only a few steps from the anfiteatro entrance to the excavations. It is also close to the main square and 5-10 mins walk from the stations for the Circumvesuviana (Sanctuaria) and also the Treni italia station. We had room 56, which was very spacious and comfortable, but beware, if you are not mobile there are a lot...

The Hotel Forum is located about 75 yards from the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. Parking is in a lot about 150 yards away that is free for Hotel customers with validation. We were there in October. We can't say what the parking availability would be in summer. Since we had a car, we cannot comment on how easy it...

The hotel is in an ideal location ... about 6-7 minutes walk from the main train station and 1 minute walk to the ruins. The reception service was quick and friendly, the room was very clean but the bathroom was old fashioned and needed modernising. However, we were in a standard room that cost us £52 for 1 night for...

We were enroute from Florence to Positano and wanted to tour the Pompeii ruins along the way. We stayed at Hotel Forum for one night. Our room was very small. I saw some of the other rooms and they were larger. The rooms were very clean. We had dinner in the courtyard and the food was delicious! The breakfast had...

I'm so glad that we followed the advice of other travelers! This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Pompeii - directly across the street from the entrance to the archaeological ruins, and a short walk from the cathedral. Plus, the entrance is set back inside a courtyard, which grants the property a little additional privacy. I'd definitely recommend...

The amphitheater entrance to the Pompeii ruins is only a block away from the Hotel Forum. The hotel is tucked into a courtyard with a beautiful summer garden including trellised grape vines. The hotel is clean, fresh, and recently upgraded. The room was of very high quality and comfortable bed. We had a balcony in the back which was pleasant...

We stayed at the Hotel Forum 2 days ago. We were a large family group of 9. The lady on the reception went out of her way to help us and even helped to book our train tickets back to Rome. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard garden. It was a lovely green oasis, much needed after a day visiting...
