We had 2 rooms booked, 1 room was changed from a single to a double which was a nice touch, the rooms was decent sized ensuite we had a shower in ours, hard but comfy double bed, wardrobe, table and chair, safe and a mini bar, in the pictures we saw there was a kettle in the room, we did not have this did not really matter as we were hardly there. The hotel is up a dead end street, made welcome by very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was very basic but did enough to start the day, there was a garden with tables and chairs also orange and lemon trees, we were told to help ourselves to the fruit. The hotel is a 5 min walk to Pompei train station, at that station trains will take you Naples,Ercolano and Salerno. To get to Sorrento you will have to go to Pompei Scavi station about a 15 - 20 min walk. We had a slight problem with a room and they changed rooms without any delay or hassle which was really good. There is a car park. Would stay again if we visit Pompeii again.

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Diana in Pompei. It is in a perfect spot for visiting the ruins that are within walking distance. It is on a main street that is quite busy, but the noise of the traffic is not disturbing at all. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff who ensured that we had everything we needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and our room was taken care of every day. We enjoyed the chats we had with the reception staff and were very comfortable there. Marco, one of the reception hosts, was especially kind and made our stay much easier by providing information and booking a taxi for us. I hope that he is being paid his worth..:o)..

I asked Marco why the hotel is rated with a 3. He indicated that it is because they do not receive enough revivews. So, please be sure to leave a review so that the hotel gets the rating it deserves!

This was a perfect choice for our 3-night-stay in Pompei. We travelled by train and the hotel is located just around the corner from the Trenitalia station Pompei. We could reach everything (archeological site, town center, restaurants, cathedral) easily by foot. It was also convenient to take a train to visit the Ercolano archeological site on one of the days.
We got a very warm welcome and the staff speaks good English. The room was pleasant and perfectly clean. A very good value for the price! The hotel is situated in a small dead-end street, so rather quiet.
Breakfast was served in a room at the basement. It was composed of very standard products, but considering it was only 5 € and included drinks, bread, ham, cheese, eggs, fruits, yoghurt and more, it was really excellent value.
We would certainly consider this hotel again. It's a perfect choice for visiting the rich archeological heritage of the region.

We arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”.

Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator.

The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii.

We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us.

In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day.

If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

We (two adults and one child) stayed in this hotel in July 2020 - one night - and it was the best decision we had taken. The location is perfect for both restaurants and a stroll to the archeological site. The hotel has nice, minimalist decor, and is very functional for short stays. Wonderfully clean! The staff was excellent and always ready to help - great tips on restaurants in town too! We had a lovely stay here and I would highly recommend it.

Has it all. Location 100 yds from train, parking, elevator, a/c and breakfast. Just a short walk to the entrance to Pompeii ruins. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Clean and quiet rooms. Friendly staff speak English . We visited Pompeii ruins, Ercolano, Naples and Sorrento from this hotel and never moved our car

Very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms and within walking distance of the ruins, The hotel is very close to the centre of town and a lot of eating out places. you can also get the train from here to Napoli and with a ten minute walk get the transfer to Napoli Aeroporto. Only downside is the breakfast which is very disappointing.

We stayed at Hotel Diana because a friend recommended it. It is conveniently located - walking distance to the ruins and the train station. We had not planned our visit prior to arriving in Pompeii, but Claudia at the front desk put together a phenomenal itinerary for us. We saw the ruins; ate lunch at a local winery; had a guided tour of Naples and a driver who took us on a tour of the Amalfi coast. She planned all of this in just a day. The hotel is not fancy but is clean and close to wonderful restaurants. The staff is amazing. If you ever go to Pompeii, you should stay here. Choosing Hotel Diana was the best decision we made during our visit to Italy.

I had a great stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was on the first floor and got exactly what I wanted. A clean quiet room, a location close to the Trenitalia station, plenty of good spots nearby to eat and drink. A winner mix! I’d absolutely stay again.
