We've stayed at Domus Cavour at least six times over the past eight years. The B&B is located a short walk from Piazza Cavour, the SIT bus stop (providing an easy trip to both Rome airports), close to the subway and is on a bus line. It is convenient to walk to the Vatican and the tourist areas (Piazza di... More

This B&B was perfect for us. Close to everything and reasonably priced with a very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 5 days and walked to all the sites in Rome. Lots of restaurants and shopping possibilities in the neighborhood. There is a bus stop a few meters from the hotel, if you want to go to other locations... More

Lovely B & B with a wonderful location in central Rome. We come walk everywhere. Very good value for money. Cristiano is a very good host and you really feel at home, like visiting a friend. We stayed here six days. Read about it on TripAdvisor and after three previous trips to Rome in which we hurriedly hit the big spots, we decided to try a different neighborhood. We had previously always stayed adjacent to the Vatican Wall. The B&B is located just blocks from Castel St Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Vatican City and St Peter's... More

What a fantastic find! Very reasonable rate and very accessible by bus, metropolitano (subway) and especially by the airport shuttle from Fiumicino/Da Vinci airport. First stop (Piazza Cavour/Vaticano) then head left 3 blocks then turn left. Cristiano and Alfredo were very good hosts and attentive to all your requests. Breakfast is always filling and unrushed. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
