We (2 adults + 3 young kids) stayed at the Turchese apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is very well organized, clean, well maintained and fully equipped and stocked. It is not big, but it is well planned and furnished, so there was space for everything. The hosts were very helpful, from the welcoming email down to accommodating our requests...

We (a family of 5) stayed in this central apartment for 5 days. The host was very friendly and helpfull. The location is nice, close to piazza Popolo, about midway between Colosseum and Vatican. So an easy walk to most of the classic tourist attractions. There is a COOP supermarket close by, and a smaller shop right across the street...

We stayed in Acqua Marina apartment which was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and daily service. Paolo was very friendly and helpful on arrival with tips for getting tickets to popular attractions and also showing us a map of where the main locations were. He also helped with airport transfers which...

We were not sure what to expect, since we always stayed at the hotels by the America Embassy off the Via Veneto. The Ripetta was a good place. The rooms were large and comfortable, a little old, but comfortable. The thing I like the best was the staff; very helpful and friendly.

we spent one week in Rome for a family vacation. Ripetta 25 was conveniently located. we were able to walk around at our leisure and go back up to our room to rest when tired. Via Condotti was on the next street and Piazza del Popolo was at the corner. we were able to buy steaks at a butcher shop...

We really liked this accomodation. We loved the location and the friendly welcome we received from the host. We loved the welcome fruit and drinks. The rooms are lovely, really nicely set out and well organised for families to self cater which we did. We did have a couple of issues. The walls here, like in much Italian accomodation are...

As others have pointed out, it's hard to go wrong here. I stayed with my 3 kids (9,12, and 15 at the time) and it was one of our favorite hotel stays ever. I had been looking at airbnb, etc. but found that for such a short stay the fees wiped out any value. This was a perfect cross between...

We stayed here twice - we started our trip in Rome and ended in Rome. It's fabulous. The first stay, we had a two bedroom apartment. My husband and I had a room with queen bed, and daughter had a room with bunk beds all to herself. Second trip, we had a loft room - our bed was up in...

As a family of five we enjoyed the two rooms and the kitchenette. We were able to buy things for breakfast and lunch and make our own meals. The décor is older but the room was clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel did have a lift which we appreciated as we were on the...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
