Stayed here during the first week in January 2015. Very comfortable and quiet accommodation in an excellent location close to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. A good quality, fresh breakfast is served in the room each morning at your time of choice. Would highly recommend, Thank you Laila

Lovely old place in a former cardinal's palace. Quiet, dark, comfy bed with good linen and "memory pillows" made for a great night's sleep. Owner/manager Laila lovely. WiFi not great and only two power outlets in the room (that's what you get in historical buildings! Good price, walking distance to Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Continental breakfast tray served in room....

There’s something special about the Baghirova The beautiful eclectic mix of old and new, the high ceilings, the art, the smell - i loved everything about this small authentic and well managed hotel. In complete contrast to the big corporate hotels and all the other small boutique places i’ve stayed in Rome – this place has got it just right...

As a traveling US family, we wanted to stay at unique boutique hotels to add to our overall experience. We were greeted eagerly by Layla who made us feel like family and was extremely pleasant to our toddler. The décor is unique as you have a very modern, goth yet historic like feeling. Our room was very spacious compared to...

We had a lovely stay here Aug 2014. Very warm welcome from Layla. Very nice unusual style room with high ceilings and beautifully decorated. Felt very secure and looked after while we were here. Loved the old mixed with the new, it was very unusual and a pleasant surprise. Very very clean (which to me is the most important) and...

We stayed for a few nights a while ago and this is our report: The good: - not *too* far from the popular sites like The Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. I mean, you can walk it. - not too terribly expensive -There is a pretty nice, deep "make out" couch. The not so good: -Hot water...

What do the following observations tell you? 1. When we arrived we noticed that the common area had a very different layout than the one pictured on the website. We asked about that. “Oh yes,” was the response, “That was a picture of our old location, not this one. We’ve been here about a year.” 2. We had booked the...

For a short stay in the centre of the historic areas of Rome, this is an excellent place to stay. We had just three nights here to cram in as much as possible and our stay here enhanced the trip no end. It is right in the thick of old cobbled streets, pretty piazzas, plenty of restaurants/bars/gelatos/cafés, less than 5...

My husband and I have just come back from a three night stay in this B&B, and our first time in Rome. We always like to make the most of our city breaks and really pack in the sights so this B&B was perfect for us as the location was ideal (right in the centre - we didn't once use...

The room we were in at this tiny B & B featured modernist furniture which put our shins and ankles at risk as we moved around. The plumbing in the bathroom was fascinatingly homemade, with fake snakeskin covers to drainage tubes which had obviously been added after the total failure of the old plumbing. It was worth staying there just...

“I managed to get a look at all of the rooms and even though our room was very nice (number 5) I would say the other rooms were a little nicer. Room 2 was massive and room 3 was gorgeous but they were at the front by the road so may be noiser?? rooms 4 and 5 were at the back of the building so very quiet.”
