Stayed here for 3 nights. Good value for money, good location and clean. Some helpful but odd things when cleaning our room they moved our dirty clothes from a small plastic bag which was overflowing to a big bin bag. Helpful but perhaps better I'd they just left the bag. We also had a bag which we were using as...

Great service at very good prices. Very good location with comfortable rooms I would recommend staying here you will struggle to find better for this price. The staff are very helpful the rooms are modern with everything you need.

The rooms in this hotel (more like a set of apartments on one floor of a building), were great value for money - the room was modern and clean, breakfast was just the right amount, and the location was amazing (only around 10 minutes walk to the Colosseum and Termini station). Our room was facing a main road but the...

We spent 1 night in this great B&B in the center of Rome, but I wouldn't have minded at all staying for a few days more! Great large room, clean and with a comfy king size bed! Even though the balcony was on the fairly busy street (via Merulana) you couldn't hear a thing with the window closed! Breakfast ok,...

The rooms were beautiful and the location was pretty central with restaurants and main streets within walking distance. The breakfast was pretty basic and I chose to eat out instead most days. The wi-fi was extremely spotty. The service was also a bit strange mostly because of the set up: the reception desk was right outside my room door.

First of all this "hotel" is just five rooms in an apartment block. Reception was right outside our hotel room door and I could here everything going on outside which made me feel about like I had to tip toe around. The breakfast was nice but the same thing everyday i.e toasted sandwiches, croissants. The room was either way too...

First thing to say is that if your looking for a hotel, this isn't the place. This is an apartment block with 6 rooms on the first level of a building. The rooms are spacious and the staff are really friendly! When in Rome, a hotel may not be the best option. A nice guest house or apartment in a...

Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and have returned on a few occasions. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are small but who spends time in a room in this amazing city! The channels are in Italian so some English channels would have been nice however it's still a lovely place.

Excellent apartment hotel for the price. Centrally located in Testaccio district. There is no 24/7 reception as this a flat within a residential building, but Luana the manager at the time, made herself available through email and wassaup to coordinate and waited for our arrival for check in. There is kitchen and nearby grocery stores to buy food, if you...

Simple minimalist hotel with very little rooms (only 6). Great service from staff, who are very friendly and always happy to help. Plus it has a good location because it is close to the subway. Also offers breakfast which is a good option.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
