If you are looking at staying in an apartment in Rome to save some money, DO NOT stay here. There are many other choices that offer acceptable accommodations and better service. I booked two rooms and was told they would be identical however one of the rooms could barely fit 2 people for a family of four. There were bugs...

We initially had a problem with the air conditioning in the first room they gave us, but they immediately made it right by giving us an upgraded room for the same price. These apartments are convenient to the Metro, several decent restaurants, and taxi fairs were very reasonable to other parts of Rome. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in Crosti Apartments for 3 nights. Check-in was at the Crosti Hotel and even though we arrived about 11pm, the guys on reception were very friendly and helpful – taking our cases the 10 minutes walk to the apartment. Our apartment was on the 6th floor accessed by a tiny lift (common in other places we saw) – but...

Firstly let's get the positives out of the way. The apartment was well situated close to the Termini train station and was spotlessly clean. That's it I'm afraid. The 'junior superior suite' was situated on the sixth floor of a building, accessed by a tiny lift which only worked if the last person out had closed all 3 doors to...

The Crosti apartments are just a 10 minute walk from Termini in Rome and just 10 minutes from the Crosti Hotel in Rome, where breakfast is served and this is also where you go to check in. The front desk was always friendly and polite and the staff in the breakfast room were very welcoming to our family. Food was...

I stayed at the Crosti Hotel & Residence in Rome in November, 7 nights, in the apartment. These apartments are not in the same hotel but a bit further from the center, only 10 minutes by foot. In reception the concierge met me and helped with my suitcase and bags. Coming the apartments he showed how to use a strange...

We stayed here in a one bedroom apartment for 7 nights. The cost was less than the average room in Rome. We had a full kitchen and were close enough to walk everywhere. Best part was that as part of the Crosti Hotel, we also got a free breakfast each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful and the apartment was...

We stayed at Crosti Apt which is about 7-10 min from the main hotel where you check-in. They helped with carrying the luggage from the hotel to the apt. The apt was very clean and comfortable. The verandah is the highlight of the location. We did take out the day we arrived and had our dinner outside on the Verandah....

Both the crosti apartments and the reception (two separate locations) are a short walk from termini station. Once you check in, they will help you schlep your luggage to your room. The apartments are clean, quiet and outfitted with the basics, if you are staying for a few days, there is a supermarket where you can stock up on coffee,...

We stayed at the Crosti Apartments 2/5/14-3 nights. We had to check in at the Crosti Hotel first which is about 10 min walk from the apartments. The hotel manager was a very nice man. Within 2 minutes he arranged someone to walk us to Crosti apartments. Our apartment was on the 6th flr. Don't be put off by the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“We chose the apartments (vs hotel room). It is a couple of block walk from the hotel where breakfast was served each day. But it was a pleasant walk through a nice/safe neighborhood. There was an elevator, we often took the stairs. We will stay here again.”
