We had a great stay. It is in a good place close to the Vatican and the metro system so getting around is not a problem. The room was spacious with a good bathroom. The host Guilia was very helpful, nothing seemed a problem for her. Would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay.

Everything was just great. Giulia and her mother were so helpful. a great B&B with a decent sized room. Location is good, close to Vatican city and to the Ottaviano Metro, In the middle of the Pratti neighborhood. definitely coming back and would recommend to friends. Rome was great, this place made it perfect.

I had the change to stay only for 2 days with my parents for a weekend but they continued staying for another 3... Very close to Vatican, perfectly situated, 3 minutes to metro station, quiet nice place... Also the price is perfect... Host Guilia is very welcoming and helpful. Very welcoming and helpful staff (Giulia) who e-mailed us with directions to the hotel a week before our arrival in Rome. Giulia was also accommodating and considerate. We arrived slightly outside of the normal check-in times but she waited around to hand over the keys. We also left very early in the morning and she left a breakfast basket for...

Giulia, who runs the B&B could not have been more helpful. Originally booked two rooms in Feb 2012 and until our arrival on May 6th she stayed in contact with us through e-mail/telephone. This was not our first stay in Rome, and when we return - we will be returning to the Glatimia. The accomodations were excellent and the breakfast...

We booked here based on reviewer comments and were really disappointed with the accommodation! I'm sure the mattress was full of rocks; breakfast consisted of 2 packages of dried toast, a sticky "bun" and one cup of tea delivered on a tiny tray to your room. The room was small, cold and not very clean...the hotel was very difficult to...

I spent only one night here and I was impressed with the service and comfort of the hotel (I did find the bed a bit hard, though). The ladies who run the hotel and kind and considerate; they waited around past the appointed time to meet my sister and give her the keys. Breakfast was delightful (pastry, juice, coffee and...

Cannot say enough positive things about this lodging. The neighborhood is within very easy walking distance of the Vatican museums and is in a relatively quiet area. The owner met us to drop off the keys and was extremely welcoming. She made us immediately comfortable. The B&B is a great alternative to a big commercial hotel. There aren't many rooms...

Guila - I gather one of 3 sisters who run this establishment - was so friendly, welcoming and helpful - an absolute delight. Great location (next door to Vatican) and room comfortable, spotless, with breakfast served on a tray in the room. Would recommend this place and would certainly stay there again!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
