Beautiful hotel within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see. The room was spacious, clean, comforable, The common areas were very comfortable as well. THere is no restaurant but they served a big breakfast every morning that was delicious. The staff , Paolo, Franseca and Adrea all went out of their way to help with getting us hooked up with a covid test for our return back to the states. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I return to ROME.

My friend and I stayed at the Damaso for a week in early December. We could not have picked a lovelier spot. Francesca in Reception was so kind and helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to help in booking our pre-departure Covid tests. The hotel is relatively new so it was fresh and contemporary. The breakfast area was lovely and the food was great. Sabrina and the other ladies were wonderful. The breakfast is set up buffet style but, due to Covid protocols, the ladies dish out the food. It was a perfect start to our day. You can easily walk to Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fioro, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Vatican and the Spanish Steps. I recommend getting a European SIM card for your cel phone. For 30 €, I got 100gigs of data. It came in handy to navigate from spot to spot. You will need your passport as identification to get the SIM card. Don’t buy it at the airport. They were much more expensive. We went to a little shop on Corso Vittorio Emanuel II 93 A. There are so many fantastic restaurants nearby. Francesca recommended La Fortunata, Archimedes and Osteria de Memmo and all were wonderful and reasonably priced. Nearby, we also enjoyed Frigidarium for the best gelato and Pasquino Cucina Romana and La Montecarlo for dinner. These spots were a short walk from our hotel. Rome in December was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay at the Damaso. I can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend this small boutique hotel within walking distance of the most famous attractions: The Pantheon, Vatican/St Peter's/etc. Very close to Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori (great market and shops and both have lots of great restaurants). The cat sanctuary among Roman ruins is a couple blocks away. There are so many free art/museum exhibits nearby too! The rooms are typical European rooms in terms of size, but freshly decorated and clean. Lovely soaps, shampoo, body wash and creams are provided as well as a hairdryer, bath robe and slippers. We didn't make use of it, but there's a nicely stocked bar fridge in the room and a safe. The beds were super comfortable as were the pillows! The upper level rooms have a patio which we'd probably like if we were to go back! All rooms are sanitized before the next guest arrives with a special machine! What made this hotel a special experience was the staff from: Francesca at the front desk who recommended some wonderful restaurants close by and helped us get in touch with the clinic for our PCR test and to Sabrina, Alessandra and Cristina in the breakfast room. They were exceptional, so pleasant to deal with and very accommodating, and all the other staff was so pleasant too! Breakfast was included and was fantastic - everything from cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh pastries to bacon and eggs. Fresh fruit juices, milk, tea, coffee - you sure wouldn't go hungry! They'll even make you a fresh omelet on request! Check out the rooftop patio - it was a bit cool when we were there and the bar was closed, but lovely views and a lovely place to watch the sun set! The ground floor has a lounge with plenty of comfy sitting room, a fireplace and a shelf full of books. Umbrellas are available to borrow if needed. Bring your vaccine certificate to be presented when asked if you want to eat indoors or visit some of the famous sites. They can't read our Canadian QR codes but will accept the full certificate that shows both vaccines and the dates. Masks are required indoors in all places, not just this hotel. Rome: you are not required to tip wait staff although we did most times and you HAVE to ask for your bill at restaurants and cafes - they will not bring you your bill until you ask as they consider it poor hospitality - we waited a long time until we figured it out! :-)

Wow! We were blown away by the staff at this hotel! Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much. The hotel itself is a small boutique type property, and it is very tastefully down. Location is perfect. We had the penthouse suite and the view was incredible. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately, I got sick the last night we were there. The staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. Their kindness did not go unnoticed! If you are in Rome, spring for the penthouse and stay here.

This hotel was clean, quiet and ideally located near Camp di Fiori and many sites. The decor was contemporary with fabulous wallpapers throughout the hotel. A concierge/desk officer was alway present and able to answer all questions. Breakfast was good.
