There were no Wifi internet (instead of the offer). There were blight on the WC, and the bathroom wall. The accomodation is at 10 Via Foscolo Roma. The area is not so good but near to Colosseum and Termini railway station.

The location of the accommodation is very good, however the neighborhood did not seem to be safe at night. The room was well-equipped and its cleanness was acceptable. The bathrooms were clean but the warm water did not function properly most of the time.

Our flight was delayed and we got to Rome 1hr late. We did not get anyone in the facility, phone went unanswered and we had to get an alternative hotel. We went back the following day and again there was no one there. Tried calling and no response again. We managed to send an email which the person in charge... More

I'd like to start by mentioning that there is a reason why most of the recent reviews have come through BudgetPlaces. AiA, as we call it, offers clean, spacious rooms for a bargain price and is definately one of the best in it's own specific category. At first I must point out that most of the time there is no-one... More

I stayed there with two other friends for 4 nights in a triple, private room. The room had the minimum number of furniture (1 double + 1 single bed, a closet, a desk and 2 nightstands). The heat was always on (including 24h hot water) so the room was never cold, which compensated for the room's window which did not... More

The Place was nice. But Wifi was not functioning. And there was no cellphone network inside either inside the Apartment. So, It was a complete nightmare. And the "fully equipped kitchen" was equipped with the cheapest utensils I have ever used. The commode of the toilet has disgusting yellow stain mark. It was unbearable. the shower box was broken. There... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
