One night is nowhere enough, but if that's all you have better to find somewhere central. We walked to Five Oscars from Termini, and then walked pretty much everywhere else. It's clear comfortable but not big, with a bit of character. Rome is not a...More
Great location, everything you need only 10mins aways. Room was big and comfortable bed, would recommend to anyone. Bathroom was clean, and bedroom was cleaned every day. Host was great, even gave the fiancé a mall bottle of champagne as was celebrating her 30th birthday.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
