We stayed here during a recent trip to Rome with some friends. Overall, I highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for good value for money accomodation in Rome. It's a budget hotel, but one of the best I've stayed in. Firstly, the location is very central - only a few minutes walk and you're at the central...

Very friendly host, short walk to Metro. It was in a high-rise with other businesses so the name wasn't very apparent. Only on a intercom system - in small handwriting. Appeared to be an apartment that was remodeled into several hotel rooms. No problem finding it. Very clean, modern. Nice shower/bathroom, cold AC. Would recommend for the budget traveler.

Stayed there for 4days with a friend. The room had wifi, tv and a nice spacious shower. Although sparse in furniture the room was very clean. Very close to stazione termini which is a plus as this station even has a 24hour pharmacy. When I had to stay for a day in bed the owner was very kind and kept...

The owner was unhelpful and rude. When we arrived the room was not ready (we arrived at 16h00) and he said that my girlfriend should not see the room because girls do not like mess and the room was messy, what? Ok, she did not and I left the lugagge. We went out to visit the city and when we...

We were three female friends on a trip to see Rome for the first time from the 16/9-24/9-15. The price is fair considering you get your own room, I've seen a lot of dorm room places at the same price, and stayed at a place in London where the price were almost the same even though it was a dorm....

I was at these apartments for 3 nights- there were three of us traveling around Rome and we were looking for not so expansive apartment, just to have a place where to put our luggage, and where to sleep- exactly for this purpose it was very OK- clean room, polite staff, convenient location- very near to the train station, center,...

This guest house is near termini station - central station in rome. But this guest house is in a apartement building and no signage, so we have to ask people nearby. Dont be fool by the look of the building, the room is clean and good. The surrounding is also full with local restaurant and near to place of attraction

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
