The location of this hotel is excellent - a very short walk away from the main rail station, a metro station serving both lines A and B, a bus station, and tram lines. With a 1-day, 3-day or 1-week travel card you can easily get anywhere in the city, and also for 14 Euros get a 1st class non-stop train...

Stayed for 2 nights at the Una Hotel Roma in May with great Spring weather in the always busy Termini area. I found this hotel potentially worth a better review considering its location, cleanliness and comfortable bedding. However, despite these positives and the efficient staff at reception as well as the good quality and choice available at breakfast, there were...

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome and we chose this hotel for its ideal location; it is only a few minutes away from the Termini station which was very convenient. The room was moderately spacious and all the amenities were excellent and clean. When we went, we found out that our room did not include Wi-Fi and...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our 1 week trip to Rome. It was convenient to have a hotel near the Termini station for the train to the airport- and the hotel is also a good location for exploring the city on foot. Everything is up to par in the cleanliness department, and the reception area...

My husband and i have just returned from a weekend trip to Rome. We chose the Roma hotel mainly because of the good reports it recieved on Trip advisor. I did have some trepidation about the hotels location prior to arriving due to the hotels close proximity to Romes Termini bus and train station, as other guests had said that...

Stayed at this Hotel for three nights with my husband. Booked through Expedia and feel as though we got a really good deal. On reading reviews, I was initially worried that the hotel was slightly out of the way. However, if you plan your routes well, all sights are within walking distance. Attractions; 20mins from Colosseum & The Forum 20mins...

I would definitely recommend this place. It is luxurious. It is located 2 minutes away from a subway, which can get you anywhere (Vatican, Colosseum) in a matter of minutes. The hotel is new and beautiful. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good with great selection of food. There are good restaurants close...

Stayed at this hotel from 4th May to 6th May, have to say that the hotel is in an excellent location about 3 minutes walk from the main Termini Station. It is also about a 20 minute walk both to the Colessium and the Trevi Fountain. To get to the Vatican you take the Metro Red Line, the Metro is...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
