We stayed here for 7 nights in May after reading the other trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff were helpful, friendly and always had a smile. We booked a suite which was everything you needed for a week away. The buffet breakfast was great , everything was very fresh and...

Villa Duse is a terrific small luxury hotel without the luxury price. It has 17 rooms in a beautiful white building in a high end residential neighborhood on the outskirts of historic Rome. It has several outside porches where one can rest and sip one's favorite beverage while planning or reviewing the events of the day. We stayed in the...

Just got back from a really pleasant stay that Villa Duse.. What can I say.. The Hotel reception (every member of the team) couldn't be more helpful; helped us book excursions (impartially) and navigate the city from the outset of our stay, the decor is so classy an chic. The villa has a vibe privacy and the staff respect that...

We stayed at Hotel Villa Duse for 5 nights in April. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a lot of character. We booked the garden room, it was very spacious and nice to unwind on our private patio during the evening with a glass of wine. Eleonora at the front desk was extremely helpful with directions as soon as we...

Villa Duse was helpful from the outset, they arranged transport from airport with little fuss and great communication. On arrival there was a warm and friendly meeting, with all questions answered in confident English. We all enjoyed a fantastic nights sleep in the deliciously comfy beds in a really quiet area. The rooms were lovely and clean with everything we...

This is a fantastic hotel, in a very quiet neighbourhood, but the centre of Rome is easily accessible by tram or bus or by walking through the delightful Villa Borghese. Rooms are well appointed, scrupulously clean, very comfortable bed & brilliant bathroom. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast & lovely terraces to sit outside. Great...

I chose Villa Duse based on my research on tripadvisor as it had an overwhelming number of good reviews. I'm pleased to say these reviews were accurate. Villa Duse is a small family run hotel in a very quiet wealthy area, a bus ride from the centre. The bus stop is near the hotel and the ride is twenty minutes....

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
