@ English: Great location (pleasant surroundings) with a good public transport. (Tram nr. 8.) Nice staff, big, cozy and clean rooms, simply equipped kitchen. We had a big terrace too. :) Breakfast was also adequate. (+capsule coffee mashine) In front of the building there are some store, and loundry. Everything was total ok, I can really recommend it! @ Hungarian:...

Hello there We visited Rome at the beginning of this month and we stayed at Il Cuore di Roma B&B. Before reserving the room, we checked some reviews and this helped us to take a decision, that s why we decided to write our own review after 5 days as guests there. I stayed at this B&B with my husband...

I stayed for a night in this B&B with some friends while we were studying abroad. We chose it because it was close to the train station and we could walk there easily with our luggage. At first it seemed sketchy because it's in an apartment building where other people live- the owners turned one of the apartments into several...

Despite its name (b&b The Heart of Rome) this place is nowhere near the heart of the city. It is at the very end of Trastevere, far from the nightlife and the bohemien atmosphere of this area of the eternal city (3 tram stops away, to be honest). It is on the second floor of an anonymous building dating back...

The B&B Il cuore di Roma is a very pleasant place to stay when in Rome. It is conviniently situated near the Trastevere station with fast public transportation to the very centre of Rome. The nice young host-couple are helpful and friendly, gives good tips on things to do and see, like present exibitions, restaurants etc. and are easy to...

I usually go to Rome for business meetings. And usually I stayed in *** star hotels. For those who are familiar with the standards in Rome you all know that *** star Rome will not assure you the quality and sometimes you will be surprised how they can dare to offer such low quality accommodation for ridiculous high price. It...

We stayed in this b&b for a weekend in March and we strongly recommend it. Its main characteristic is the homely and comfortable atmosphere. The room was tremendously well adorned and wide. About the location maybe there is nothing to say cause i think Trastevere is enough known all over the world. Just to summarize I can use one word:...

This b&b was raccomended to me by a friend of mine, who stays here last summer. We arrived in late night with no extra rate for late check-in, the owner and his wife were so kind, their advice about place to eat, and public transportation were so helpful. We loved so much the freedom, the owner granted us, there's no...

My girlfriend and I have been in this b&b last weekend, just for one night. Saturday, at the phone, the holder asked me, as he had a “setback”, if it was possible to check-in at 6 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.; I did this courtesy to him quietly. Previously, in an another phone conversation he assured, in lack of any...

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
