I decide to book this hotel due to its proximity to the Vatican city. Never a day I will regret it. Before leaving, I have been emailing the hotel requesting information for our visit. Their response was always quick and informative. They arranged our airport transfer to the hotel and back. Upon arriving , Daniele greeted us in front. He...

A truly great place to stay in Rome. Our hosts (Daniele, Marina, Lourdes) were so welcoming and hospitable that we really felt at home. They offered information and advice and helped us to book some restaurants in advance. The rooms are perfectly clean, warm, comfortable and we had a magnificent view over the Vatican to Saint Peters. The bathroom is...

Livio, Daniele and Lourdes are so friendly and welcoming and they cannot do enough to help you. From the point of booking to when you wave goodbye they are there for you....

I can't say enough about this great place. Both owners were so friendly and accommodating! We arrived very early around 9 am and our room was ready for us to wash up and relax before heading out to explore Rome. The breakfast was great with fruit, granola, meats, cheese and made to order eggs and more. Perfect location for all of the sightseeing in...

My wife and I visited Rome to watch the Italy v Ireland rugby international . Our son made the booking. This is a bed and breakfast of a very high quality. It is located literally a couple of hundred metres from the walls of the Vatican. The rooms are on 5th floor of a stylish old building. There were 5...

We stayed here 4 nights and it was simple to take the metro from the train station just 4 minutes away. The breakfast was great, really loved the cappuccino. The owners here are so incredibly helpful and personable. The first night Daniele stayed late to let us in and spent an hour helping us plan out our next day..even gave...

Short walk from the metro, convenience of an elevator for luggage and mobility impaired. Rooms are large and bright. Excellent breakfast selections. Hosts spoke very good English, so easy to communicate. Bed was extra-firm, just a bit too hard for me, but otherwise OK. Bathroom was good, with a large shower. You are very close to the Vatican here, but...

The price alone is what makes this stay amazing. Very affordable. The location can not be beat either. There are various restaurants right outside the front. There is also a taxi stop, a bus stop, and subway nearby. Daniele is an amazing host and will definitely give you the right recommendations. Daniele is the reason we had such a great...

Just got back from staying four nights at the fantastic A View Of Rome, and what a view. The location was great, and the photos on the website of the view are really that good. The room although pretty basic was kept beautifully clean and there are tea and coffee making facilities. It's just a short walk to St.Peters bacillica...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
