I stay a lot at NH Hotels around the world, and I like them fine, but never expect over-the-top luxury. This place is outstanding. Not only is the setting one of the best in Rome, with a rooftop overlooking the Forum, but the staff their elite SWAT team to manage this place. We stayed here over New Years and were expecting things to be a little lackluster as things were crazy busy, but on the contrary: Our room was made up TWICE a day, the wait and rooftop staff were incredibly courteous, but top kudos go to Valentina, who pretty much juggled everything down in the front desk at all hours with extraordinary grace, charm and efficiency. One of a kind! This is our new go-to-place in Rome.

We don’t normally write reviews but we had to this time. So many incredible things to say about NH Imperiali. We are staying in a lovely 4th floor suite which is spacious and has the best view of Trajons Column. Rooms are impeccably clean with wonderful amenities, great bathroom with incredible shower, nice blow dryer, nicely lit mirror, great lighting, beds are so comfortable with crisp white linens. Lighting in hallways lite as you walk by, staircase in the center is stunning with large bouquets of fresh flowers on every floor. The staff is very professional and friendly, all we are masks. Before the trip we sent many emails with questions, they promptly replied in detail. Very helpful with picking us up from the airport, making reservations for Coliseum, restaurants and day trips. The rooftop bar has a view that cannot be described, exactly what you see in posted pictures. The restaurant staff know what they are talking about and will make menu suggestions on local food and wine. Mozzarella and tuna were amazing appetizers and the shrimp pasta dish is like nothing we’ve had. Breakfast included and severed in a small beautiful restaurant with linens, beautiful silverware and china. Daily fresh squeezed juices , rolls and bread, fresh fruit and wonderful espresso and cappuccino. You can order eggs, omelettes, cold cuts and fresh mozzarella, whatever you want, all served by an amazing staff and included in the price. The location is perfect, tucked away and not too loud, close to the Pantheon, Coliseum and about a 40 minute walk to the Vatican. We won’t stay anywhere else in Rome, NH Imperiali is worth every penny. If you are looking for attention to detail, this is your place.

We stayed over Christmas and the staff were really helpful and even put a gift for 10-year old son under the Christmas tree. We had a lot of friendly assistance via email before we arrived too. The bed was super comfortable and the views from our room were amazing. We were in close walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Colosseo and Pantheon. We walked to Vatican City (about 45 mins) and our taxi to the airport took just 30 mins. We had pre-paid before Covid and as the room rates had dropped, we were given a voucher which we used in the restaurant and rooftop bar. It was the perfect place for a 3-day visit over Christmas. Thank you!

Do not stay here if you need to sleep before midnight. There is a crazy loud sound system on the roof that plays til midnight. It takes away all of the class of what would otherwise be a nice hotel. The hotel has many 5 star amenities. But there is a no-star roof terrace with house music until at least midnight. The view from the roof is lovely, but you wouldn't want to stay there for more than a few minutes because of the massively powered bose speakers everywhere. You can't sit away from them because there is always another one pointing right at you. The type of music - heavy drum and bass - shakes you in your room at night. So you go for a walk but it booms throughout the neighborhood. I don't know why Rome allows this in an important, beautiful area. They should cut the music to 30% of its current volume and play things with less bass and bass drum because that travels through walls and windows. It stopped at midnight today (Monday). Not sure when it stops other nights.

Room Tip: stay away from the roof terrace, but the sound travels anyway.
