Alberto was a wealth of information about the area and other important info. He gives perfect walking instructions from the Train Station. The room was large and very comfortable. Having the communal mini kitchen was perfect to store food etc for later.

Termini Gold B&B was a nice experience. It is a cozy, affordable B&B about 15 minutes walk from Roma Termini station. The area surrounding the place is kind of rugged, like many parts of Rome, but we felt safe. Alberto is the manager and he runs a nice, home-like place here. He's got rules, but if you stick to them...

Located closely to the Termini station, which basically means that theres a lot of dark alleys and places you do not want to enter during the later hours of the day. The place itself is nice, however you do have to share the bathroom with two other rooms! Breakfast is good and the coffee even better. The owner was very...

Very nice, spacious and clean B&B on a quiet side street to "Via Manzoni", which means close to attractions and communications. The owner - Alberto - takes good care of You, indeed ! The only things we could wish for is a larger shower-cubicle and one more spotlight for reading.

I stayed here for 3 nights last week. Alberto was so accommodating; he made our experience in Rome convenient and comfortable. He waited up for us when our plane was late and helped to make sure we got our luggage back after the airline had lost it. The bathroom and room was so clean and spacious. Alberto was helpful and...

This B&B is has a good location, 10 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk the other way to another metro station. We walked to the train station at 4am and I didn't feel nervous walking in that location at that time. Now for the actual B&B. The building is very nice, an older building with...

I stayed at Termini Gold over a year ago with my girlfriend and absolutely loved it. I have been meaning to write a review for this place for a long time and it should be a testament to how lovely a place it is that I'm writing this a year later. Alberto is an extremely welcoming man. Our plane and...

Alberto Ruggieri knows what we tourists want, and delivers it ! I stayed at his Platinum B&B a block away from Manzoni Metro, in a quiet safe street, absolutely quiet at night, and very comfortable room with clean shower, and kitchen with large fridge, free wifi, supermarket two blocks away, and walking distance to Colosseum. I have stayed at many...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
