That has been my second time in Rome and i am just happy to have choice this small Hotel (5 rooms) right in the city. My room was like a 4 star Hotel with all you may need on travelling. Kettle in my room with coffee, tea, milk and sugar. Free croissant every day. Very professional stuff. Breakfast is outside...

We stayed at Morrisson Hotel with another couple. The staff at Morrisson were very helpful including opening reception at midnight to welcome them after a late flight in (even though reception hours are not 24/7). They also provided us with a map and helped us find our way around the city. Each morning saw a friendly welcome and staff ensured...

Very nice hotel near metro 5' walk. Beautiful and clean rooms and the best capucino in Rome with hot croissant in a cafe nearby for breakfast. Our host mr Morrion was very communicative and friendly. Surely recomended for medium budget accommodation and for couples vacations.

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! Its a small hotel (4-5 rooms I believe) but the owner and his staff are amazing. Very clean and modern as well. We were welcomed warmly, given a brief guide + map on Rome and everything was better than expected. The proximity to public transport...

We had the best time staying at Morrisson Hotel. It felt like we were staying at a five star hotel without having to pay the five star prices :0)The hotel has 5 rooms, so you get very personal attention, but the rooms are very spacious, neat and super clean. I was impressed! The rooms look like they were very recently...

Morrisson is a suite of 5 rooms in a typical building in Rome, shared with apartments and another similar setup called Deseo. Don't be put off by the exterior-- everything in Rome is "gently worn," and there's really no disadvantage to your stay itself. Imagine it as a 5 bedroom apartment, each room with en-suite baths, and a small entryway...

We choose Morrisson hotel after searching online and reading revues to trip advisor and booking.com .And it was a great choice! In the centre of Rome , just a few minutes walk from two metro stations ( Castro Pretorio and Reppublica) made very easy our transportation. Clean, new, comfortable with the owner Senior Mancini, helping us with his instructions and...

Had a wonderful stay last september in this small but fancy hotel. Management is very professional and help us a lot. Rooms are very very clean. Not even a 5 stars hotel where i often stay is so deeply obsessively cleaned. Every evening we use to find a Morrisson courtesy which was an italian homemade fresh oie or croissant. I...

Impressive. Very nice and elegant rooms with modern furniture which contrast with the old and historical bulding where the hotel is located. Across the street from the UK Embassy in the city center of Rome. GM Morrisson is awesome!

Looking back on my trip to Rome I have mixed feelings about the Morrisson Hotel. Firstly on arrival to the building I thought it was awful. The building itself on the outside is quite shabby and not what I was expecting. The staircase is shabby with dirty looking walls and pealing paint. So first impressions for me were not great....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“You can hear the hallway noise from your room. Most of the time this was a non-issue as the other patrons were rarely loud. If you're sensitive request a room toward the back of the hallway.”
524carolm, 31 Oct 2014 | Read review
“Room 404 is set back from the hallway, separated by the length of the bathroom, whereas the other rooms are right on the corridor, so if you want a little bit more privacy or are sensitive to noise, this is probably the best room.”
