My wife and I stayed for 1 night before catching a plane to Paris. It was the perfect location; about a 7 minute walk to the Air terminal at Termini rail station. The room was great with free Wi-fi. The bathroom was small but well decorated with a great shower. The owner arranged to come in early to give us...

It was my second trip to Rome within month and during my stay in Rome the weather was not tourist friendly. Raining without a break. Yet the hospitality of Francesco and Manuela in many ways compensated this "minor" problem. The rooms in Daysleeper are well designed and great care has been taken in choosing right furniture so they are suitable...

We arrived in Rome for a short w/end break and booked this B&B following feedback from some friends. Happy to say this B&B was exactly what we needed! It's a boutique B&B with a difference, very cool, relaxing and super clean. We stayed in the Nightswimming room which has a great jacuzzi. The couple that run the B&B are delightful,...

This B&B is in an appartment building close to the Termini train stattion. The couple that hosts guests are lovely and very helpful. The B&B only has 4 rooms and is very handy to the train station (yes that means there is a little bit of noise - but only a little). The rooms are very modern and extremely clean....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
