I stayed in the Maribell this month with a family member and can say in all honesty I've never been more impressed with a B&B. I consider myself quite picky in terms of cleanliness and general comfort especially in what is essentially someone elses house and we were delighted with our stay. We first found the Maribell some months before...

My husband and I spent two weeks touring Italy, and when we stayed in Rome we stayed at a delightful B&B, Maribell B&B. We were met by Marina, who was very engaging and spoke wonderful English. Her B & B is brand new and beautiful. The furnishings are bright and cheerful, and very comfortable. She served us a plentiful breakfast,...

My daughter and I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Maribell B+B. I have over time travelled quite a bit around Europe and can really say it was the cleanest and most welcoming B+B I have ever stayed in. Marina has obviously worked very hard to set up her business. She was very helpful from arranging breakfast...

Marina went out of her way to make our stay very positive. Not only did she recommend a restaurant that was excellent, she set up our transportation to the airport for 5AM, and got up to say goodby, even packing a breakfast for us to take along...! Great experience!

We had the honour of being Marina's first guests in late August this year just after she opened. She was a fabulous hostess and could not do enough for us. My husband has MS and has difficulties with walking etc but she really helpful in guiding us around the city and helped us work out how to do the sights...

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at Maribell for our big European vacation and really loved our stay there. I had no idea what to expect so when we walked into a very charming, clean, renovated apartment I was pleasantly surprised. The main room is the breakfast area, with two small tables for 2, and a small check in...

I stayed at Maribell with my parents in early September. I believe we were one of the first guests, as the B&B just opened this month. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and Marina (the owner) was a wonderful host. It was a spacious room with 2 double beds, or a single queen bed (she can turn it into either...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
