Stayed in a few B&Bs, most of them very good. Bit strange this one as upon arrival (9.30 at night) we were unable to immediately see the entrance or signs for the B&B so were, for a few minutes wondering what we had booked.
Excellent location, great people. We stayed for three nights, owners Marco & Lina are super nice, breakfast was perfect, clean room and bathroom. We had a very good experience. The B&B is located very close to the Vatican, metro and buses are on the same...More
I was travelling across Europe and Rome was my mid-stop. Therefore, I already experienced a few hostels/hotels prior to my arrival at Gauis Roma. This was my only B&B experience, and I must say I enjoyed the hospitality of Lina and Marco.

Marco and Lina are the sweetest couple ever! They welcomed us so warmly into their B&B. They are always so helpful and always have the loveliest smiles on their faces! :) The room was clean and spacious. It felt very homely! :) The location is...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
