Stayed for a few nights in December, it's a great location. Step out of the door and you're right in front of the Pantheon, and there are plenty of ok restaurants about. The staff were very friendly, the (included) breakfast was good. The only slight complaint I had was about noise - we initially had a room right next to...

This hotel is located smack in the middle of all the sights of Rome. The Forum, Vatican, Spanish stairs, and villa Borghese are all within 30 minutes walking from this place, which means you'll never had to take a cab, bus or metro. The rooms are smartly designed, well insulted against sound, and decadently furnished. The hotel also has a...

this is a several part question:

1. We noted on the hotel website that the annex rooms have a shower OR bath... one or the other... can anyone confirm or deny some rooms having one or the other versus both? We are staying for a week with three women, not having a shower head would not be suitable for our needs.

2. We also noted on the hotel website that wifi was available in the lobby but then said in the room description for the annex suites that free wifi was included. Also the reviews for the hotel seem to confirm a lack of wifi.... Can anyone confirm or deny the presence of wifi in the annex rooms as, again, we are staying for a week and I will need access to internet for work.. we will be staying in the annex (due to the number of people in our party).

3. Finally, we were told that we have reserved the room with the balcony in the annex (per our request). According to the hotel this room is the Suite Deluxe room annex... can anyone confirm that the balcony room (apparently there is only one room with a balcony) is in fact the Suite Deluxe annex room? If the balcony room is not the suite deluxe room, what is the name of the room category and/or the room number of that room. I do not want to get to Rome, check in, and find that we are booked in a different room due to miscommunication as it so frequently happens with hotels.

Thank you so much for any help. We cannot seem to find pictures directly corresponding to the names of the rooms which would make choosing a room much easier.

I also thought the pictures were a little confusing. Our concern stemmed from a review on TripAdvisor - someone said they reserved a certain kind of room ( I can't remember exactly) and they were given a room in the interior with no window and were not happy. I think after some complaining, they were moved. In our case, we booked a junior suite and paid the lower amount that does not allow a refund. I was concerned that if we were not happy, we would have no recourse. After searching both websites extensively, I finally emailed and asked -I was told there were 2 junior suites and they could not tell me which one I had reserved ?!? That was worrisome but then I asked for pictures of the 2 junior suites- they sent those pictures and either looked fine. Having said all that, upon our arrival, we were given the junior suite that has the bed upstairs (room #110) and we were very happy. So, in conclusion, I think you should email (rather than calling so you have it in writing) and ask about all your concerns. The staff is really nice and helpful- I did not get the feeling anyone there is shady. Hope this helps.

If memory serves the Hotel does have an elevator. The problem is that each floor has "half landings" so you might have some steps to climb - depending on which room you have. I think that if you ask the Hotel they could provide a room on the same level as the elevator.

Sorry for this late answer, but we thought the hotel would step in and reply. Guess you'll have to find them through their web-site.

Have a great time in Rome!

We stayed in a suite in the annex- I don't think the king bed we had was two beds together. The air conditioner was working fine in July. Definitely close the shutters on the windows during the day to keep the heat out.
