It is located on Vatican side of the river, 20 mins away from it, no tourist around, nice and quiet area by the river. Quite a few local places to eat is around with good food and low notouristic prices. We had room nr 1, it turned to be quite noisy (i could here washing machine in the neighbours apartment...

I have absolutely no complains! The neighborhood was the best ever! It was situated close to everything and to one of my favorite places in Rome 'villa Borghese' and yet it wasn't touristic at all. It was easy to find very good restaurants in the area with absolutely no tourists on it! Laura was very helpful and nice and the...

I stayed at Mellini 39 B&B for 3 nights in a double bed room. The city center (like Spanish Steps) is 15 minutes away by foot, so the location is great. Vatican city is also reachable by foot. There are a lot of bus stations in the near Piazza Cavour which can get you to any place in the city,...

Great location on the other side of the canal. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Can't really remember what room we stayed in but it was near the dining area. We had queen size bed that we shared and our own bathroom. All in all it was ok BUT the a/c was just terrible. It was very noisy that we...

this place is wonderful. Laura, was wonderful kind and helpful. She showed us the most important things to visit in Rome and she showed us some tricks to skip the line at the Colosseum and the Vatican. Furthermore, prices are really low, and the provisions many. For instance, you have a huge private bathroom (very clean), a whole trendy kitchen...

This place is very well located, near to everything in a matter of minutes. The staff who runs the business are very friendly and helpful. They speak different languages which is always nice. The rooms have high ceilings and are very well decorated, nevertheless, because the building is a palazzo, sometimes it gets cold, the doors don't isolate the noise...

We had very modest expectations when we booked on line for our one night stay in Rome. What we received was the most pleasant surprise. Our charming, recently remodeled B&B was modern, clean, welcoming and exceeded all advertised amenities. Their website says they are in the middle of everything, but it was also truly walking distance to everything *and* the...

The place is great!!! The rooms are amazing and Gabriele is such a great host. He gave us the bests city tips to visit all the main places and to eat and shop. The location couldn't be better (you are right in the middle of the main places of Rome). Our check out was like at 11 am but he...

We have recently returned from a family trip to Rome, we stayed in the apartment at Lungotevere dei Mellini 39 for four nights. What a wonderful experience! The apartment itself was very large (we were six people, 2 slept in the sitting room on a pull-out bed) and there was plenty of room for us all. It was very clean...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
