This is a very quiet place located next to the Vatican Museums. You can't even hear the traffic once inside. Extremely clean and well-cared for, you feel you are in a serene oasis in the heart of the metropolis. Although not a big part of the staff, the nuns make you feel welcome and cared for. It is not a...

This Guest House is a great place to stay in Rome. The location is very well situated. It is across the street from the Vatican Museum. You can buy tickets to the Museum from the reception, to avoid the long line. It is also a walking distance to the Metro station. The nuns and the staff are very welcoming and...

I originally reviewed the convent several years ago and raved about it. We just checked out after our fourth stay and i feel compelled to update my prefious comments. Now in fairness i am older and abit worn and cynical now so make of this as you wish. The convent experience has also changed in this time. To start with...

Directly across the street from the Vatican Museum entrance. This small hotel is run by nuns. Nothing fancy, but clean and efficient. A very short walk to St. Peter's. Also very close to Old Bridge Gelateria (best Gelato in Rome).

A absolute gem in the heart of Rome, located opposite the entrance to Vatican Museums, you couldn't ask for a better location. The sisters were very friendly and happy to share information, they also have all the information you need to make the most out of your visit to the Vatican. The rooms were incredibly clean and neat, excellent value...

Across the road from the Vatican Museum, five minutes walk to Trionfale Mercato, a wonderful food market, ten minutes walk to Ottaviano metro station, lots of restaurants and sandwich shops nearby, ten minutes walk to Old Bridge Gelateria, five minutes to Fa Bio, fifteen minutes to St Peter's Basilica. One of the cheapest accommodation. A single room with private bathroom...

I stayed here for 2 nights during my visit to Rome. The sisters here were friendly and accommodating. My room was small but absolutely immaculate and had everything I needed for two night stay. The bathroom was absolutely spotless too! As a Catholic I appreciated seeing photos of popes, crucifixes and the Holy Family. The location right next to the...

“Book room away from the street”
O9696KGlindam, 21 May 2015 | Read review
“All rooms are basically the same. This is a convent-run place. It is not a tropical resort so you don't have to worry about someone having pool-view when you don't.”
  • Morning view from room 7 ( I think). Looking onto a typical Roman-red building.
BandBreviewer, 24 Sep 2013 | Read review
“On my two visits I have stayed in a room in the front close Viale Vaticano. The street traffic was not a problem and I never experienced a sleepless night. Others, however, may prefer a room away from the street in the year close to the deck The large deck, which is furnished witth a covered table with chairs, overlooks a few quiet streets below and provides a view of the suburbs of Rome in the distance.”

“A room away from the main road would be quieter, if you leave the window open.”

“The room we had was great, guessing they are all good. I prefer ground floor so that it's easier in/out.”
