I have never written a review on anything before, but we were so impressed with St Peters I felt it would be disservice not to. The double room was fantastic for my wife and our two children, and the staff could not do enough for us, they were soooo friendly, especially Roxanne, whose English was amazing. The main aim of...

I'm really enjoying my stay. The service is great, the staff is very helpfull and they all speak very good english. I was very suprised to meet Maya because she can also speak Dutch. The breakfast is really good with a lot to choose from. The kitchen is always filled with free drinks, snacks and fruit for you to grab....

I need to be honest with you. The hotel is great, the staff is friendly but I'm a little bit disappointed with this place. Maybe because I reserved a double room for a single occupancy, my room was really small and bathroom small as well. Really different from the picture when I reserved. But, passed the first (and tight) impression,...

This was a family holiday for a few days in Rome and we were really looking forward the accomodation here but felt a little disappointed upon arrival. The apartment was quite noisy at night due to other people upstairs moving furniture around constantly which kept us awake. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was not great either and got...

We expected more out of this place for what we were paying. It's not that it was bad but we did not like our room. This is not a hotel, and doesn't advertise as being one, so this may not be a totally fair review. Still, our room did not have a window but had a glass door to a...

I stayed at this B&B for 5 nights in July and what a find. (I actually stayed 1 floor above at the Vatican Suites but it is the same hotel). Staff were so helpful and kind. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and so many choices of various cakes and breads to choose from and the cappuccinos were delicious. You...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“All rooms are great, we chose one in the rear at our daughter's advice as she lives in the building in a front facing room. Though not a busy street, she thought we'd enjoy the quiet in the rear, overlooking the courtyard, which wasn't lavish ... actually very simple as the rest of the building are upscale homes, and balconies are used for drying clothes as dryers are unheard of in Italy.”
