We stayed for 4 nights . The hotel came highly recommended. Our room was on the second floor facing the street. Great sights from the bedroom if you like people gazing. Step outside and you are within walking distance to great sights ....metres away from the Trevi Fountain. Shopping, food churches, transport , all at your fingertips. The staff were...

We have stayed here twice, due to its location. This time was stayed 3 nights and had a room on the 3rd floor, with a view out to the main street. Everything is so close and we walked everywhere - the Trevi fountain, piazza Navonna, coliseum, Vatican, villa borghese etc. Thelongest place away takes perhaps 45 minutes. Vvery helpful front...

Just had a great week in Rome with my girlfriend after staying in the Hotel Regno. First impressions were the fantastic location, which is in the middle of everything, and the welcoming staff. We were a bit disappointed however when we got to our room and saw that the windows had bars on! The room did it's job though and...

You step out of the hotel and you are in the centre of Rome, a great central location with very friendly staff. Many people comment about the breakfast, If you are looking for a buffet that takes up half your morning to eat, then this is not the place for you. if you want a freshly made coffee, fresh breads...

This was our second stay at Hotel Regno and this must surely be the best located hotel in “old” Rome. 2 minutes from the Pantheon to one side and 2 minutes to the Trevi fountain (under renovation) on the other side, on fashionable Via del Corso and with many good restaurants around it, Hotel Regno has it all. We stayed...

You can get smarter hotels with delicious expensive breakfasts elsewhere but you won't find anything better in the same price band as Hotel Regno. It is well situated with plenty of reasonably priced cafes a very short walk away. If you don't want street noise ask for a quiet room at the back of the hotel.

This hotel is very convenient, close to everything. Walk to Spanish Steps, Tivoli fountain, Pantheon, etc. Helpful staff. There was a wedding in the hotel when we stayed. Prices are quite reasonable. Close to nice cafés and restaurants. Easy to get to from the airport. Breakfast was great. I wished they have a restaurant that has lunch and dinner. Be...

We stayed here for 2 nights and agree with other reviews about the great location on Via del Corso. The room was a good size and clean, the noise we did not find a problem at all. The staff very helpful at all times. The breakfast was fine however we chose to go out for breakfast on our second morning....

Stayed here for 2 nights after reading several reviews on Rome Hotels. Location was fantastic on Via del Corso which is within walking distance to most of the main attractions. We had room 232 which faced out on to the main road and the first night we noticed how noisy it was but the second night we didn't notice it...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
