One word: mould. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. -- There's nothing more to say really, however the minimum characters is 200 so I may as well elaborate :) The room we were in had an air-conditioner unit sitting on the carpet, which had obviously leaked at some stage, and there was a big patch of mould on the...

Dear dia_gee, It is surprising reading now your comment, related to year 2015. Is this a reaction for having not get refund for the night charged, as late cancellation penalty? Since we cannot accept misleading use of Tripadvisor as threat, trying to avoid booking penalty or to receive free upgrading, we feel obliged to send the charges to the sender....

Hotel was great from the time we checked in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was great! Could not have asked for a better location, in walking distance to every major attraction and shopping.

Just stayed June 2016 in Hotel Tritone, my husband and I were very pleased and the gentlemen at reception very pleasant and helpful especially Roberto, the room had plenty of space and nice a clean, only fault we could find was the shower curtain kept sticking to you and water going on floor this could easily be rectified by a...

Just home from a four day trip to Rome. This was our fifth time to Rome and we made our reservation on a short notice. Earlier we have stayed in better hotels but Tritone was a good choice as we wanted to have everything in a walking distance from the hotel. The room was clean and big enough, the bathroom...

Hotel staff was the BEST!! We walked just around the corner to the Trevi Fountain, so BEAUTIFUL!! We walked to the Spanish Steps, The Colosseum, the Capitol Building and all over the streets of Rome. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

I will say everything about this place was nice except for the bathroom which was probably 12 feet by 3.5 feet and a ridiculously small shower that was nearly impossible to move around in, creating a mass flood as the curtain was so long it covered the drain and the flow of water spread opposite of the outside drain. On...

Have just got back from Rome. Stopped in the Hotel Tritone and what a good choice we made. Room was an ample size. Excellent location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a choice of hot and cold. Bacon was very nice. Could have done with more tea and coffee satchets and milk pots in the room but there...

The room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely fine- hot and cold options, fruit, yogurt etc. Can't complain. The reception staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel is perfectly located. 20 minutes walk from The Colloseum and 25 minutes from the Vatican. AND just around the corner from the fountain that everyone wants to see :)

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
