We stayed at this hotel for 2 days on our trip to Rome. The welcome was delightful, the room was very well appointed and comfortable, breakfast very acceptable. The roof garden was spectacular and a lovely place to enjoy breakfast and an evening drink. The...More
Wonderful hotel! Very clean and comfortable! Great breakfast each morning on the rooftop. Close to public transportation, but most of the time we took a taxi to the sights for about $20 each way. Walked to great restaurants and a grocery store. Front desk very...More
Great little hotel in a quiet district in Rome, we stayed for 6 nights and toured most of Rome on foot. The hotel is only 20 minutes from some of Rome's attractions and a short distance to the metro. The hotel staff were superb, quick...More
We decided on this hotel since it was well priced, and a little outside the city centre for some peace and quiet.
We had a little difficulty finding the hotel to begin with, but it's a 15 minute walk from Termini station, so easy enough...More
Great rooms, helpful staff, great location, roof top bar and breakfast area worth it in itself. Have a look at this place if going to Rome. Best value we found through weeks of research. Only downside was no pool but most don't seem to have...More

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

The location, while not minutes away from Rome's main attractions such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc., these sights can easily be reached by foot--15 minutes to the Steps, 25ish to Trevi, 30 to Piazza Navona. Other main attractions require transportation to location.
I did not mind walking to several sights, but after a long day wanted to take a taxi back to the hotel.
