We stayed as a couple for a few nights and found the overall experience very good. 1. Location: The hotel is within walking distance of Via Veneto (shopping and cafe street) and Termini Station (the main train station in Rome). It isn't close to the main tourist areas but you can easily take a hop-on, hop off bus from termini...

We have stayed at this hotel twice. It's in a quiet location and is close to several excellent restaurants. It's also within walking distance of the main train station, as well as metro and bus stops. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Each night they made excellent dining recommendations for us and booked us with reservations. The hotel...

My fiance took me here as a suprise 30th birthdya present. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The staff on the fron desk couldnt do enough and recommended how to get around and which local restaurants to eat in which were super, really authentic. The hotel is around a 15-20 minute walk to...

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel staff where very friendly and keen to offer us advice to help with our stay. The room was spacious enough and extremely clean, the bed was comfy too! For the price we paid for this hotel, we couldn't fault it. On our departure our transfer was late and the hotel were only...

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of October for our first city break in Rome. The only fault we found with the hotel was when going to the roof terrace the barman was often in the kitchen behind the bar and it was a little awkward to get his attention to order...

A little bit further away from the centre, but has a great rooftop restaurant for breakfasts and bar for sunset watching on the 7th floor. I recommend a glass of chianti! The room was fine, quite small and with a view of a wall, but I have had this kind of view before from European capital hotels. I chose this...

After reading the fine reviews I was somewhat disappointed in the actual hotel. The lobby and reception are lovely but it's average all the way after that. The reception staff were friendly in the main but not overso as stated on some reviews. The room was a double bed with quilted wallpaper and mirror wall. The bathroom was fine with...

Booked this hotel via priceline name your own price. Was great for what we used it for, a place to sleep and change clothes. First time in Rome with only 3 days and was not at the hotel much at all. The staff did help us book several tours when we arrived, all of which were great, and helped us...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
