I was here last June, and came back this year too, approximately the same time. I have told all my good impressions for Hotel Caprice in my last year's revue and have nothing to add to it except that this time my room was a...More
We stayed in the hotel caprice, great location and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely too, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone- very reasonable price also.
Will definitely be back soon!
Caprice hotel is ideally situated, walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Panthenon for example. Many great little restaurants and shops are close by too. The hotel itself is small, cosy, friendly office staff and okay breakfasts.
- Breakfast was really bad, I almost broke my teeth on those hard bagels. Breakfast staff is very unfriendly, they act like they're doing a hard job and have a lot of pressure. They should be replaced by people who actually WANT TO work. Especially...More
Nice rooms with very pleasant staff. The breakfast was also good with small selection of dishes. The area was very close to the great park of the Villa Borghese. And a 20 Minutes walk away from main rail station Termini.

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
