Simple check-in, good sized room, a kettle would be nice, nicely furnished. Busy at breakfast but they did open up a second area when needed. Nice roof terrace withh views across the city. Excellent location for tourist sites and the railway station, bus station and the Metro.

I booked thinking Id get a well located and reasonably comfortable crash pad in when my RV broke down in Rome and required several days waiting for parts en route south. Instead I discovered an absolute gem of a hotel. Without boring people with a long narrative, plus points: - super friendly team at reception. They were, without exception, a...

I expected luxury booking this hotel and while the entrance gives hope of grandeur the rooms are dusty and in need of a deep clean. My husband and I were upgraded as we travelled on our honeymoon but the room was far from meticulously clean. If you're ok not taking a close look at cleanliness this is a great spot...

Near the main station, on the tram line and walking distance from major sights. Collosseum about 20 minutes walk. We were here for the Italy v Ireland rugby match and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are fine, lifts are a tad slow so we used the stairs a lot. Didn't eat in the Hotel so cant comment about its food...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
