Great hotel in a perfect location right beside the termini. Lots of lovely restaurants closeby and the food in the hotel is also good. Breakfast was served in the rooftop restaurant although service was often haphazard. Go early because they don't tend to replenish the pastries and cold meats that often. The room was really big and plenty of storage...

Hotel is centrally placed a 15 walk from the forum and Colosseum. Room cleaned to high standard every day including fresh towels etc. The breakfast was big, varied and good quality served in a nice breakfast room. The front desk reception were polite and helpful and spoke excellent English. It was a tad old fashioned but had a charm to...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a group tour. Pros- great central location to get to most tourist attractions in a heartbeat. Staff are friendly and there's a lot of nice restaurants and gelatarias around. Their rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the city both during the day and night, food expensive though.and yes you...

Stayed as part of tour group. Room not huge, but comfortable. Beds firm, extra pillow available. Bathroom large. Deep tub with shower. Our only problem was that room was hot due to SW exposure and although window could be opened, we were on Via Cavour which was noisey. Elevators small and funky but just had to cope as we were...

The rooms are small except for there suites are a nice size the beds are not the best , a bit too hard. The breakfast included was not very goo. Stale pastries, not a variety of choices. We were...

Hotel is very nice and situated near to Roma Termini. Although it is approx 33 km from the FCO airport. We have arranged a guided tour to Vatican and colosseum through Green Line Tours. The office of tour operator and tour starting point was just opposite to the Hotels. Rooms were clean. We stayed in room no 221 and there...

Hotel is ideally located across metro Termini (central station) station. It was easy for us just to take the Leonardo da Vinci express train from airport to Termini & walk, with our luggages, diagonally across the Cavour street intersection. We had a rollaway in our room which was to be expected - uncomfortable. Room was average 3-star North American rating....

Stayed for 3 nights last week. Excellent location, lots of eateries in the area, around the corner from the bus and train station. Upgraded our room in the hotel to superior, worth the extra cost. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant. Lots of choice and lovely food. Beware - if you are staying on a Sunday morning you need...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
