Located in the restaurant hub of Rome, there are many fine places to eat(including many international restaurants) at short walking distance, It's also a short walk from the Coliseum and some other attractions. Privately owned boutique hotel, stylish and clean with very friendly staff and great breakfast. Unlike a typical hotel, it's more like an old inner city multi story...

Being plunged into modern Rome is akin to the trials of the gladiators in that it is a frenetic, busy, modern metropolis albeit one that surprises around every corner. The Duca D'Albe hotel is a real oasis of calm in this place and situated very handily for a lot of the must see sights, the Colliseum is a short walk...

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights on the 6th July and overall were pleased with our stay. The hotel is located in a lovely area, very close to the Colosseum and a short walk away from all other areas. The Irish bar across the street was great. Staff were always very friendly and they served a varied...

We spent 2 nights here in June and were very glad about our choice. The location is great--just a couple of hundred meters from the Metro, close to the Colliseum and Forum, but on a small quiet street with good places to eat nearby. We intentionally did NOT stay in the annex, for which I'm grateful after reading some of...

I would return to Rome simply to have the breakfast again from the Duca D'Alba hotel! I'm not sure where the previous reviewer stayed, but it could NOT have been the Duca D'alba hotel if they skipped their breakfasts because they were "not good at all." I have travelled to over 70 countries and have rarely seen a hotel have...

The location of this hotel is awesome and the gelato place next door was outstanding! However, we were less than impressed with the service/attitude of the staff. Not extremely helpful as we experienced in other cities in Italy. The restaurant was. Not good at all and we skipped our free breakfast there. The room was great. Clean & quiet. The...

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and were very pleased. The location of the hotel was great! Safe & fun area...Closseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanshis Steps all in walking distance! Rooms were tiny but very clean and quite comfortable. Bathrooms were modern and also very nice. AC worked wonderfully!! Had to move around a bit in the room...

Our room was small but nicely updated. Location was great - a couple blocks from the Coliseum, and on a pretty quiet street. I guess the price is what you pay for a nice room in such a location. The window opened to the next building four feet away, so we heard and felt the heat from their air conditioners....

We stayed in the hotel for a long weekend in June and unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations set by the website and the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. The room in the annex was extremely small, even for a hotel in the centre of Rome, and it wasn't cleaned during the 5 day trip. The maids just...

For European standards the room is on the larger side though smallish for American standards. The beds are extremely comfortable, especially compared to other Italian beds. It was very clean and comfortable and an outstanding location for the historic center and ancient Rome. It's on a street with a lot of happening nightlife--with the double layer of windows closed, we...
