Hotel Oxford is a beatiful hotel in a great location, Hard Rock Cafe is a short walk away as well as other amazing attractions such as the Spanish steps. Couldn't think of anything negative to say about this hotel, we all had the perfect stay. Cant wait to come back!

We stayed for 2 nights, we were impressed with the hotel apart from our small bedroom, which was very basic, lack of space, no bedside tables and no little extras, ie water, tea/coffee facilities etc, this hotel being rated 4* , Our room and on suite was very clean. Staff friendly and welcoming, The Restaurant was ok, but not a...

The Hotel Oxford is handily placed just a few minutes by bus from Rome's transport hub at Termini. Direct buses also serve the Trevi fountain, a real bonus after dark when you want to return to the hotel without straying into the city centre. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My room was old fashioned facing an inner courtyard,...

Stayed here for a long weekend end of January. Hotel pretty good, reception were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Check in was easy. Lifts and stairways are very narrow, 3 people max in the lift and 1 person wide stairways but manageable. Room was ok, get what you pay for but on a site seeing weekend...

The only problem we had at this hotel, was how slow the service was in the restaurant. The hotel was not very busy with guests,as it was January. The food was not very Hot. Also the plates were cold. Even in your local pub they heat the plates, For your Steak n Ale Pie. The room was very quite, it...

Overall the Hotel Oxford was a great place to stay. Well within walking distance of the major sights, 15 mins to the Spanish Steps and about half an hour to the Forum and Colosseum. The Vatican was a bit further away but even our 10 yr old didn't complain at the 45 mins stroll. The Hotel itself was a little...

We booked a 4 night city break at this hotel and we're worried after seeing where people were getting dropped off at others. We needn't have though, the Oxford is a lovely hotel. Our room was a little small and the window opened onto the centre court yard. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were...

Staff were very helpful, locatiion was good for exploring the whole city walked every where. 10 mins from Spanish steps, 15 mins main station. Rooms are not large but adequate, very clean and good powerful shower. The location at night is quiet, so good for sleep.A big plus was the restaurant near by La Cantinola. Turn left out of Hotel...

Stayed here for three nights, half board and booked via British Airways. Our room was hot, no aircon out of season, as we faced the road we had to sleep with the window open. Large metal recycling containers at the side of the road, suggest that you take ear plugs. Breakfast was okay, the evening meal in the restaurant was...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
