I spent a long time researching hotels in Rome and this was my favourite. The photos looked amazing but that was not the case. The rooms were very dated. Double bed which was actually 2 singles pushed together. Every time you moved the beds moved...More
This came as part of our cruise package and would not choose again but did the job! Very dated and basic but lovely friendly staff. Room was spotlessly clean but very basic- no glasses, no tea and coffee, no iron and furniture functional at best....More

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
