Stayed here in January, and returned in June to celebrate our 1st Wedding anniversary. Our first stay was fantastic in all ways and the second was slightly different. The bar and restaurant have had a complete refurbishment and has been done to very high standard. The breakfast buffet was ok but we thought this time not as good of a... More

We went as a group of 5 females, had booked 2 rooms, one for 3, and a twin room, all our requests were met and exceeded. On arrival one of the rooms was ready but the other was going to be 30 minutes, so we sat in the bar and had a drink and relaxed. As we had arrived at... More

After walking Rome this would be the last bed you'd want to sleep in, Hard as a rock. Don't stay In the "apartment" or you'll find yourself 3 Blocks from the actual Hotel. Trust me it was not a sight to see, thankfully they let us stay at the Hotel. You may have to carry your luggage up stairs to... More

My wife and I stayed at the Oxford hotel for 4 nights in June we had a fantastic time, room was very good. Breakfast always hot and fresh , we love walking and spent 4 days doing just that. If you get the chance north of the hotel there 's a great park with fantastic views over Rome .

When we got to the Oxford our room wasn't ready so it was nice to be able to sit down and order drinks and food while we waited. The location was convient for walking to some sights and for the taxi stand 2 blocks away because when a cab was called it was at the hotel in under 5 minutes.... More

The oxford hotel with very small but nicely decorated corridors and nice rooms won us. We enjoyed our stay, The hotel location is ideal for walking to most of the tourist attraction. From 15 minutes to 30 minutes walk you can cover most of the local tourist attractions. Over all, a good hotel.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and the staff and hotel was lovely. The staff did everything they could for us, ie booked our cabs and our tours on our behalf. It is in a great location wi the trevi fountain and the Spain steps just around the corner. The breakfast was lovely as well.

I spent 5 nights at the Hotel Oxford in May. It is well located - slightly further away from some of the sights than some hotels but very easy to walk to them. An advantage is it is located in a quieter part of town - with some wonderful nearby local restaurants. It is also fairly close to the central... More

19 May 2014, 4 night stay via BA. The hotel is in a nice area near the USA embassy and not too far to a metro station. Rooms are small and felt a little cramped. However, very clean, good housekeeping and a comfortable large bed. Good choice at breakfast and the service was friendly even if it was a bit... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
