Quite small rooms in Rome, but top location, very good service, fantastic athmosphere in Rome. In Florence, again top location, quite good service, fantastic athmosphere and...marvellous rooms. Dirk Kirkegard and Sally Withfield

I stayed at the Casa Howard for four days with my two children and loved it! This small gem is run by a husband and wife team and is managed with love. The rooms are SMALL but decorated with lots of good taste. Also important to note that the hotel is very well located near the Spanish Steps. This was...

Casa Howard is a gorgeous little guest house in Rome, just near the Spanish Steps. Pretty, intimate and romantic, it is the perfect place for a long weekend in this gorgeous city. Visit the website. We loved it.

We stayed at Casa Howard in October. We got off to a bad start when the hotel car we had organised failed to meet our 7am arrival at Fiumicino. After so much organising before we left home and then 30 hours flying it wasn't the best welcome. The taxi dropped us at Via Sistina where we had to wait 20...

We stayed at Casa Howard on Via Sistina for two nights in September for our honeymoon. We had the American Cousins room facing the street ~~ even so, it was quiet. It was nicely appointed with grays and tans, and a red painted floor. The bed was one of the more comfortable in Europe (the beds generally tend to be...

Casa Howard Guest House is really very good, however the level of service during our stay left us with a few misgivings. The interior decoration of the rooms, bathrooms and entry area is really quite exceptional. The spotlessly clean rooms are very quiet. We stayed in the Green Room for the first two nights - a large room (almost 'huge'...

I stayed for one night in the Chinese Room. The room was very small and pretty nicely decorated. I was debating whether the place was worth the $213 US dollars I paid(160 Euro). Cons: The taxi driver dropped us off a block away(he had no idea where the street was). There isn't an elevator so you have to lug your...

Casa Howard was an oasis at the end of every day! My partner and I stayed there for 4 nights towards the end of June. We did one night in Tommys room and the other 3 in the Zebra room. Try to get the Zebra room as it was our favorite with it's own balcony. Being on via Sistina, the...

we expected a house as this was called Casa, but it is a crummy appartment on the second floor with very little natural light, terrible approach to the elevator. Tiny rooms. very overpriced for what it is.

Not much to say except that we had a great trip, perfectly placed. A bit like having your own private apartment in Rome! Casa Howard exemplifies good value for money and they have very nice touches in the rooms, a must is the air con and Edgar the friendly hotel guide/assistant was very helpful. Visit, I promise that you will...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
