I have stayed at this hotel, and, subsequently, at both of their apartments, for the last 12 years or so.
I have had amazing customer service from the owners and their staff at all times. Nothing is too much trouble, ever. They are engaging, interested,...More
This is the second time we stayed here due to our first experience. The staff was very helpful. I can't commend Gianni, Angelo and Reda highly enough for their hard work. We ran into a personal issue that had nothing to do with them or...More
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. I got one bedroom apartment that I rented at this hotel. You walk to the hotel and a hotel employee walks you about 100 meters to another building and you will cry the...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

While the hotel is wonderful, and the location and service are perfect, it is a very small hotel with no communal area for the kids to go to when they get bored. Though we were only in the hotel for breakfast & to sleep, that's it. What will YOUR days be like in Rome? If you plan being out all day then I say go for it!
