I stayed here in July for 4 days. The AC did not work and it was extremely hot in Rome. After 2 days of complaining they changed us to a different room and told us they would refund us the money for the first 2 nights, that it would take 7 to 10 days. It has been more than a...

The location of the hotel is very good as it is about 15 minute walk to the Vatican, and 10 minute walk to the centre of Rome. The room was nice enough although the toilet had one of those seats that are smaller than the actual toilet opening and I really hate that. Otherwise ok. The room was not in...

Perhaps I should have done my homework before allowing my travel agent to book this place. The room is tiny, the beds are very old, can feel the springs in the mattress. 30 degrees in Rome and the aircon does not work. No curtains on the window. Room 111 seems to be above the restaurants kitchen below and the extractor...

We went to this hotel on recommendation from 3 other couples who have all stayed here mainly because of the location. It's in easy walking distance to all of the main attractions and sites - whilst being just far enough away from the crowds - night and day. Easy walk to the main shopping street Via Del Corso - and...

The lift is small, 2 people and their suitcase each and it's full. But it does the job and reception service is great topped off with free snacks they provide to all guests. Perfect when you arrive close to midnight. We were upgraded to a triple sized room which is actually a decent sized twin. Would have been squashed if...

Very good location in Vatican with a lovely restaurant around ( Di Gusto 30 seconds walk from the hotel ) , close to major famous places. The hotel is very good service, polite, helpful and friendly staffs. Room service didn't leave milk for tea a couple of time but when phoning reception for a few minutes later they were at...

The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly, very helpful. Really, as good or better as any concierge I've dealt with. If one wanted to, it wouldn't be necessary to eat anywhere else! The breakfast is bountiful with great variety, all day there is coffee, tea and pastries provided, and then at "happy hour" in the evening there is another large...

The staff were friendly at this hotel and welcoming, but I was not pleased to be in the annex , which was situated along the street from the main hotel. This arrangement made us feel that we were really only renting a room rather than staying in a hotel and enjoying all that it should offer. The beds were not...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
