Nice room, great, I mean GREAT location, right next to the main bus/train temini. Lovely staff, very helpful, bed a little non-wide, had to push them together to stop the feeling of falling off edge. :)

Ideal location for sight seeing, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are located on the second floor with continental breakfast on the fourth floor. Very close to the Metro, Taxi Rank and Hop on Hop off Bus station so getting around isn't a problem. Really good Irish Bar just around the corner 'The Flann'. Room is quite small with an annoying...

We had stayed here for 3 nights during the New Year. The reception located on the 2nd floor with a small lobby. Our room located on the same level with the reception. The room was very small and bad smell. I'm not sure what housekeeping sprayed into the room. There was no any blanket provided in our room. The hotel...

Le Petit is ideally situated for those who like to stroll around and find their own way to the main tourist sites. Any further out and it would have been a case of checking out the taxis or the metro. The local area has plenty of hotels, coffee bars, shopping and gelato bars !!. Our room had a balcony overlooking...

This is a quirky hotel, although I would say it is more like apartments than a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us a map and highlighting key areas to visit. The room were cleaned daily , including clean bedding everyday. Rooms are small, but not an issue if you are just needing a place to sleep...

Hotel is in great location and really handy for the train station and the main tourist sites. We enjoyed walking so a 20 min walk was no hardship. I accept you do not book a hotel room to spend all your time there but you at least want to be able to look forward to coming back to a cosy...

Great location. Less than 5 mins from Roma Termini train station and Hop on Hop off bus stop. Very friendly and helpful staff. They offered to store our luggage for 3 nights while we went to Florence by train, even if we were not checking in at their hotel when back in Rome. We were extremely touched by this attention....

The rooms were very small just enough space for a double bed. The bathroom too was too tiny with a small shower cubicle. one cant even stretch hands to have a...

The room is unbelievably old, full of dust, shower is minuscule, stains all over the roof and wall, very unhelpful staff, in a district that is 40 min walk from any of Rome's sights, and the "double mattress" is two tiny singles put together. I have travelled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This one was the absolute...

Beds were very very hard, could not sleep. We had 3 in a room, one of the beds was a pull out couch that dipped in the middle and was just as hard to sleep on as the main beds. There was only one mirror in the bathroom, none in the main room. the shower drain kept on blocking. internet...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“As for the modern room on the 5th Level as their lower level is really old”

“The rooms with balconies facing the road are beautiful and a little more expensive but I'd suggest a room without a view looking into the service courtyard if you need a good nights sleep, much quieter and you can get the views when out walking.”
