We chose the BW Astrid for its price, but its location is quite decent: just a short 7- or 8- euro taxi ride into the main tourist areas of Rome (Colosseum, Pantheon, etc), and sitting next to the Tiber river. The hotel has decent sized rooms, in-room coffee makers, and the wifi is free although it can be spotty. Breakfast...

This hotel was beautiful. Located in a pretty good location, not amazing. However, the hotel makes up for that with FREE bike rentals with very good quality bicycles with baskets. It is the best way to move around town. Don't let the hotel's cheap pricing fool you. It is worth much more. The rooms are one of the cleanest rooms...

I wouldn't say this is average but I really cannot rate it as very good. It would fall under a 'good' category, if TripAdvisor had one. For the price is it fine. The rooms are basic but clean and with all the required amenities. Breakfast is basic but nice and with a very pleasant view. Note there is no English...

Reviews for this hotel were generally ' positive ', in it's favor , so we were reasonably satisfied to book it for a six nights stay . There is always a doubt in your mind as to whether these reviews will match expectations . We need not have worried . Our experience was a positive one . It is true...

Visited rome for 4 days at the end of our month long trip. Next time i would do a little longer as it felt rushed...so much to see!!! We used our airmiles for this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Staying in Flaminio

Neighbourhood Profile
Flaminio
The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centres - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico football stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.
