Excellent place to stay in Rome. Very clean and peaceful. Bus stop to the city center, Vatican, or to the colosseum, next to the place. Rome nightlife in Trastevere nearby. The owner was very helpful all the time, helping us with information about transportation as restaurant's near by.

We decided to book our stay at Bamboo after reading the great reviews. We travel a lot and like to stay in places that aren't right in the centre. We are good at getting around and as other reviews had mentioned how great Giarda was at offering advice on where to go etc thought that this place would be ideal....

Like a home, clean, modern, great beds, fast wifi. Good for families, excelent breakfast. A bit far from center Rome but good public transportations. Good burgers/streetfood just a 15 meters from Bamboo. Giada is so nice, warm and welcoming. She helps you when you ask. We recommend this place! Suosittelemme lämpimästi paikkaa kaikille!

Its in a great location, 30min walk from the Vatican. Its great for people who don't mind doing you own cooking. It was much cheaper than a hotel, and the lady who helped us with everything was very friendly and accommodating. They stocked us with fresh towels every two days. The place was spacious, and very neat. kitchen, Clean bathroom,...

Located in an area that is not inundated with tourism, my husband and I had a wonderful experience at this B&B. Our room had a balcony and was quite spacious. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bamboo is located very near to a train station which we used on several occasions, primarily to travel to St. Peter's in the Vatican...

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.

Bamboo is convenient for those coming from the airport or those who must go to the hospitals of S. Camillo or Forlanini. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, all have a private bathroom and a terrace and are cleaned every day. The breakfast is served on the veranda or the terrace.
