Deko is a lovely little hotel, run by a charming couple who go above and beyond to make their guests have a nice stay. They are natural hosts and from booking the room onwards, they couldn't have been more helpful and warm. Deko itself is a small guest house within walking distance of the attractions of Rome. The rooms are...

My apologies to Marco for the very late posting of this review. My family stayed here for five nights and were blown away from the moment we arrived. Serena served us refreshments and got us comfortably settled before giving us the most amazing insights and orientation related to the hotel, the area of Rome we were in, what sites to...

Although I have little to add that has already been said, I felt we should reaffirm what great people to stay with Marco and Serena are. Marco met us outside as we arrived, carried our luggage up, gave us brilliant tips and information on making the most of our stay. Serena and Marco guided and organised our restaurant reservations, asked...

The best personalized service you are ever likely to experience: that's what you will get here! Marco and Serena's motto seems to be "Of course we can do that for you!" On our last night, Marco must have made five or six phone calls and pulled in some favors to get us into the restaurant we fancied (where we were...

Hotel Deko is a very lovely and very friendly boutique hotel situated near the swish Via Veneto area of Rome, close to the American Embassy. It is without a doubt the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. Marko and Serena (the owners) make you feel incredibly welcome and the rooms are clean and trendy. I would definately stay here...

The reviews on TripAdviser are all true. We spent four nights at Deko Rome earlier this month. Serena, Marco, Andrea and Azad do a superb job of caring for their guests. They are friendly, intelligent, capable, and professional. The rooms (there are six of them) are stylish, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed having proseco with Marco and other guests before...

Had a wonderful time in Rome made all the better by the wonderful Marko and Serena. The room was simple but well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. This not a 5 star hotel, if you want that sort of stay the don't come to Deko. But if you want a great friendly place to stay and staff that...

I knew that there was a reason that this is the #1 Rome hotel on trip advisor. What I discovered was that there were two reasons - Marco and Serena. They simply were the warmest, most welcoming hosts I have ever encountered. Even before our trip began, I requested some information about Rome and Marco immediately emailed bak with suggestions...

Just back from 5 nights in Rome and wanted to say that we found this to be a fantastic place to stay. DEKO Rome was ideal for us - a smaller hotel/guest house, room very clean and modern, lovely breakfasts and staff who coudn't have been more friendly or caring! Marco's restaurant recommendations were spot on! Location is about a...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
