Great hotel in a great place within easy walking distance of the Spanish steps and trevi fountain. Friendly staff, quiet, good breakfast, clean. Would recommend. Really helpful in recommending where to eat and allowing left luggage.

We stayed at this hotel in August?for a 4 day break through voyage prive. The hotel is great. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is fantastic yet the hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. A few minutes walk to Barberini metro station, walking distance to Trevi fountain and...

Overall I enjoyed this hotel. It was clean and all the staff were accommodating and courteous. They recommended some really good restaurants and the location of hotel was convenient. Some improvements though. The air-conditioning was barely functioning. During our visit it was extremely hot outside which made the rooms a little bit uncomfortable because of the temperature. The showers could...

I have to say that the Berg Hotel in Rome is one of the best hotels in town. From the staff to the location. 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and 15 minutes to the Trevi fountain. The entire staff is very accommodating and friendly. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. Hotel was very good although few points could easily be improved to make it great. Biggest problem was the air conditioning which is really poor. 35degrees outside and not much different inside. Hotel is very clean, staff are great just few bits and pieces to make it a great hotel. Location was excellent...

Pros: Massive rooms Extremely clean (new towels/ sheets everyday) 5-10 walk to the Spanish Steps Quiet street, away from the busier areas Cons: Shower was difficult to work, too many functions maybe just focus on one shower function. On one occasion when returning to our room after sight seeing our door was opened and unlocked (we obviously locked it in...

We booked our stay for 4 rooms (9 people) When I inquired about cost of third person in one of the rooms they told me I had booked single rooms and 2nd and 3rd persons would be additional 50 each. I cancelled and rebooked double and triple rooms. When we arrived they told us time and place for breakfast than...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
